A Safe Place to Begin Again

Sometimes rescue is only the beginning.

A survivor can be removed from exploitation and still be left wondering, Where do I go now? Who can I trust? How do I begin again?

Healing takes more than getting out. It takes safety. Time. Stability. People who will walk beside them. A place to breathe without fear, rediscover identity and purpose, and begin building a future beyond what happened. That is the heart of Moving In Faith Ministries.

Our story of opening doors and caring for people in difficult seasons began nearly 27 years ago.

What started with welcoming young people into a safe home grew into decades of serving families, children, people experiencing homelessness, and others throughout our community who needed  someone willing to see them, love them, and respond.

Today, that same heart has been given a focused mission. Moving In Faith Ministries is working to provide transitional housing and restoration-focused support for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Montgomery County and Central Alabama.

Because we believe a survivor’s story does not end with what happened.

There is life beyond survival.
